एके विप्राः स्थितास्तेषामेकांतरितभोजनाः । षष्ठकालाशिनश्चान्ये चांद्रायणपरायणाः

eke viprāḥ sthitāsteṣāmekāṃtaritabhojanāḥ | ṣaṣṭhakālāśinaścānye cāṃdrāyaṇaparāyaṇāḥ

Parmi eux, certains brāhmanes vivaient en ne mangeant qu’un jour sur deux ; d’autres ne prenaient nourriture qu’au sixième temps ; et quelques-uns se consacraient entièrement au vœu de Cāndrāyaṇa.
