तेनैव च पुरा ध्वस्ता न च मृत्युमुपागताः । तच्च मेध्यतमं ज्ञात्वा स्थानं दृष्टं पुरा च यत्

tenaiva ca purā dhvastā na ca mṛtyumupāgatāḥ | tacca medhyatamaṃ jñātvā sthānaṃ dṛṣṭaṃ purā ca yat

Par cette même puissance, jadis ils furent terrassés, sans pourtant atteindre la mort. Sachant que c’était le lieu le plus purificateur—ce lieu contemplé et vénéré depuis l’antiquité—(ils parlèrent ainsi).
