राजोवाच । संत्यन्ये विविधा विप्रा वेदवेदांगपारगाः । मध्यदेशोद्भवाः शान्तास्तथान्ये तीर्थसंभवाः
rājovāca | saṃtyanye vividhā viprā vedavedāṃgapāragāḥ | madhyadeśodbhavāḥ śāntāstathānye tīrthasaṃbhavāḥ
Le Roi dit : «Il existe aussi bien d’autres brāhmanes, accomplis dans les Veda et les Vedāṅga, nés au Madhyadeśa et d’une conduite paisible ; et d’autres encore nés dans des lieux saints de pèlerinage (tīrtha).»
