Skanda (deduced)
Tirtha: Unnamed triad of mountain tīrthas (contextual triad in adhyāya 199)
Type: peak
Listener: null
Scene: Pilgrims ascending a sacred hill-path to three distinct bathing points—springs or stepped pools—performing snāna with folded hands, while sages indicate the route and merit tally is symbolically shown as a ‘twenty-fourfold’ radiance.
Purāṇic pilgrimage repeatedly emphasizes that sacred triads of places grant heightened purification and multiplied merit through snāna.
The three mountains listed in the previous verse: Śrīparvata, Arbuda (Ābū), and Raivata.
Snāna (ritual bathing) at/within the tīrtha context of these three sacred mountains.
