Transliteration

tataḥ provāca taṃ mlecchaṃ saṃmaṃtrya saha bhāryayā | yadi gṛhṇāsi me kanyāṃ tava yacchāmyahaṃ dvija

Translation

Alors, après s’être concerté avec son épouse, il dit à ce mleccha : « Ô dvija, si tu acceptes ma fille, je te la donnerai. »
