Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 43
अश्राद्धेयो विपांक्तेयः सपुत्रो वा भवाम्यहम् । स्थानं वा संत्यजाम्येतत्पुत्र मैवं समाचर
aśrāddheyo vipāṃkteyaḥ saputro vā bhavāmyaham | sthānaṃ vā saṃtyajāmyetatputra maivaṃ samācara
«Je puis devenir indigne des rites de śrāddha et indigne de prendre place dans la rangée des brāhmaṇa—avec mon fils ; ou bien je quitterai ce lieu. Ô mon fils, n’agis pas ainsi.»
