सामवेदविदस्तस्य गृहस्थाश्रमधर्मिणः । पश्चिमे वयसि प्राप्ते कन्या जाता सुशोभना
sāmavedavidastasya gṛhasthāśramadharmiṇaḥ | paścime vayasi prāpte kanyā jātā suśobhanā
« Il connaissait le Sāma Veda et demeurait fidèle aux devoirs de l’āśrama du maître de maison. Lorsqu’il parvint à l’âge avancé, une fille d’une beauté éclatante lui naquit. »
