सूत उवाच । एवं तत्र स्थिता देवी सावित्री पर्वता श्रया । अपमानं महत्प्राप्य सकाशात्स्वपतेस्तदा

sūta uvāca | evaṃ tatra sthitā devī sāvitrī parvatā śrayā | apamānaṃ mahatprāpya sakāśātsvapatestadā

Sūta dit : Ainsi la déesse Sāvitrī demeura en ce lieu, prenant la montagne pour refuge ; et alors, auprès de son propre seigneur, elle subit un grand affront.
