Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 2

चक्रुः सर्वाणि कर्माणि पुलस्त्येन प्रबोधिताः । सदोमध्ये गताश्चैव ऋत्विग्वरणपूर्वकाः

cakruḥ sarvāṇi karmāṇi pulastyena prabodhitāḥ | sadomadhye gatāścaiva ṛtvigvaraṇapūrvakāḥ

Instruits par Pulastya, ils accomplirent tous les rites prescrits ; puis, après avoir d’abord choisi les prêtres officiants (ṛtvij), ils s’avancèrent au milieu de la salle sacrificielle.
