Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 84

ततो मे जायते दुःखं तेषां पतन संभवम् । कस्यचित्त्वथ कालस्य संजातं वलयत्रयम् । तस्या हस्ते ततस्ताभ्यां शब्दः संजायते मिथः

tato me jāyate duḥkhaṃ teṣāṃ patana saṃbhavam | kasyacittvatha kālasya saṃjātaṃ valayatrayam | tasyā haste tatastābhyāṃ śabdaḥ saṃjāyate mithaḥ

Alors la douleur naquit en moi, craignant leur possible chute. Après quelque temps, trois bracelets demeurèrent à sa main ; et, se heurtant l’un l’autre, ils firent naître un son.
