एवं मे मधुपो जातो गुरुत्वे च द्विजोत्तमाः । तेनाहं तेजसा युक्तो नान्यदस्तीह कारणम्

evaṃ me madhupo jāto gurutve ca dvijottamāḥ | tenāhaṃ tejasā yukto nānyadastīha kāraṇam

Ainsi, quant à l’autorité spirituelle, je devins une « abeille de miel », ô meilleurs des dvija. Par cela je suis pourvu de tejas, de rayonnement; ici, il n’y a pas d’autre cause.
