होतव्यं हविरेवात्र समाप्तिं यास्यति क्रतुः । नान्यथा सत्यमेवोक्तं तवाग्रे चतुरानन
hotavyaṃ havirevātra samāptiṃ yāsyati kratuḥ | nānyathā satyamevoktaṃ tavāgre caturānana
«Ici, seule l’oblation de havis doit être offerte ; par elle le sacrifice atteindra son achèvement — jamais autrement. Telle est la vérité que je proclame devant toi, ô Caturānana, le Quatre-Visages (Brahmā).»
