पिंडदानं नरस्तस्यां यः करोति द्विजोत्तमाः । पितरस्तस्य संतुष्टास्तर्पिताः पितृतीर्थवत्

piṃḍadānaṃ narastasyāṃ yaḥ karoti dvijottamāḥ | pitarastasya saṃtuṣṭāstarpitāḥ pitṛtīrthavat

Ô meilleurs des deux-fois-nés, l’homme qui y accomplit l’offrande de piṇḍa satisfait ses ancêtres ; ils sont dûment rassasiés, comme s’ils se trouvaient en un Pitṛ-tīrtha renommé.
