पिप्पलाद उवाच । अद्यप्रभृति नो पीडा बालानां सूर्यनन्दन । त्वया कार्या महाभाग स्वकीया च कथंचन
pippalāda uvāca | adyaprabhṛti no pīḍā bālānāṃ sūryanandana | tvayā kāryā mahābhāga svakīyā ca kathaṃcana
Pippalāda dit : «À partir d’aujourd’hui, ô fils de Sūrya, tu ne devras infliger aucune souffrance aux enfants—ni aux miens ni à ceux d’autrui—d’aucune manière, ô grand et fortuné.»
