Transliteration

vasiṣṭha uvāca | nāhamastraṃ prayuṃjāmi viśvāmitravadhecchayā | ātmarakṣākṛte deva astramastreṇa śāmayan

Translation

Vasiṣṭha dit : «Je n’emploie pas les armes avec le désir de tuer Viśvāmitra. Ô Deva, je ne fais qu’apaiser l’arme par l’arme, pour ma propre protection.»
