Transliteration

vasiṣṭha uvāca | homadhenuriyaṃ rājannasmākaṃ kāmadohinī | adeyā gaurmahārāja sāmānyāpi dvijanmanām

Translation

Vasiṣṭha dit : «Ô roi, voici notre vache du homa, celle qui exauce les désirs. Ô grand roi, une vache ne doit pas être donnée ; même une vache ordinaire, lorsqu’il s’agit des brāhmaṇas.»
