तस्मात्संनीयतामेषा स्वगृहं धेनुरुत्तमा । किं करिष्यति विप्रोऽयं निर्भृत्यो वनसंस्थितः

tasmātsaṃnīyatāmeṣā svagṛhaṃ dhenuruttamā | kiṃ kariṣyati vipro'yaṃ nirbhṛtyo vanasaṃsthitaḥ

«Qu’on conduise donc cette vache excellente dans notre demeure. À quoi servirait-elle à ce brāhmaṇa, établi en forêt sans serviteurs?»
