तान्सर्वान्पोषयिष्यामि त्यज्यतां मानसो ज्वरः । तच्छ्रुत्वा चण्डशर्मा तु पुत्रैर्बंधुभिरन्वितः
tānsarvānpoṣayiṣyāmi tyajyatāṃ mānaso jvaraḥ | tacchrutvā caṇḍaśarmā tu putrairbaṃdhubhiranvitaḥ
«Je les entretiendrai tous et pourvoirai à leurs besoins — que la fièvre du mental soit rejetée.» À ces mots, Caṇḍaśarmā, entouré de ses fils et de ses proches, se prépara à agir.
