सूत उवाच । स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय गतश्चादर्शनं रविः । दीपवद्ब्राह्मणश्रेष्ठास्तदद्भुतमिवा भवत्

sūta uvāca | sa tatheti pratijñāya gataścādarśanaṃ raviḥ | dīpavadbrāhmaṇaśreṣṭhāstadadbhutamivā bhavat

Sūta dit : Ayant juré « Qu’il en soit ainsi », Ravi, le Soleil, disparut de la vue. Ô meilleurs des brāhmaṇas, cela parut prodigieux, comme une lampe soudain retirée.
