ततोऽपराह्णसमये स्नात्वा धौतांबरः शुचिः । प्रतिमां पूजयेद्भक्त्या दिनाधिपसमुद्भवाम्
tato'parāhṇasamaye snātvā dhautāṃbaraḥ śuciḥ | pratimāṃ pūjayedbhaktyā dinādhipasamudbhavām
Puis, au temps de l’après-midi, après s’être baigné et avoir revêtu des vêtements propres, étant pur, qu’on adore avec dévotion l’image (pratimā) du Seigneur du Jour (Sūrya).
