puraścaraṇakṛtyāyāṃ saptamyāṃ divasādhipa | upavāsaṃ kariṣyāmi adya tvaṃ śaraṇaṃ mama

Translation

Ô Seigneur du Jour (Sūrya), en cette Saptamī prescrite pour le rite de Puraścaraṇa, j’observerai le jeûne ; aujourd’hui, Tu es mon refuge.
