तस्माच्चिन्तयत क्षिप्रमस्य शुद्धिप्रदं हि यत् । तच्च प्रमाणतां नीत्वा शुद्धिरस्य प्रदीयते
tasmāccintayata kṣipramasya śuddhipradaṃ hi yat | tacca pramāṇatāṃ nītvā śuddhirasya pradīyate
C’est pourquoi, réfléchissez sans tarder à ce qui lui accorde véritablement la purification ; puis, l’ayant établi comme pramāṇa (autorité valide), que sa purification lui soit conférée.

Scene: A senior dvija rises, commanding attention, instructing the group to quickly determine a purification method and establish its authority; the supplicant looks hopeful; a manuscript is about to be produced.
Compassion must be joined with correctness: purification is granted only after confirming a legitimate dharmic basis.
The tīrtha setting remains the backdrop; the verse focuses on the process of authorizing a remedy rather than naming the site.
A procedural prescription: identify a śuddhi-giving practice and validate it as pramāṇa before applying it.
