सोऽपि केशान्परित्यज्य सर्वगात्रसमुद्भवान् । निजपत्न्या समोपेतः प्रणम्य च द्विजोत्तमान्

so'pi keśānparityajya sarvagātrasamudbhavān | nijapatnyā samopetaḥ praṇamya ca dvijottamān

Lui aussi, après avoir ôté les poils qui avaient poussé sur tout son corps, s’avança avec sa propre épouse et se prosterna devant les plus éminents des dvijas.
