वंचयित्वा तु पितरं गृहीतास्मि ततः परम् । न किंचित्पाप्मना दत्तं जल्पयित्वा धनं बहु

vaṃcayitvā tu pitaraṃ gṛhītāsmi tataḥ param | na kiṃcitpāpmanā dattaṃ jalpayitvā dhanaṃ bahu

Après avoir trompé mon père, je fus emmenée ensuite. Et bien que l’on eût promis en paroles de grandes richesses, rien ne fut réellement donné, tant cela était souillé par le péché.
