«À cause de sa protection royale, nul n’ose lui parler en face. C’est pourquoi, lève-toi—allons ; nous te donnerons de la nourriture.»
Janāḥ (the people)
Tirtha: Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra (contextual frame)
Type: kshetra
Scene: People, unable to speak against a royally protected wrongdoer, turn toward the wronged brāhmaṇa with concern, urging him to come and accept food offered in goodwill.
When direct justice is obstructed by power, dharma still expresses itself through compassion, support, and right conduct toward the afflicted.
The episode is embedded in Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra / Puṣpāditya Māhātmya (Nāgarakhaṇḍa).
Offering food (anna-dāna / hospitality) is implied as a righteous response.
