अन्धक उवाच । पितास्माकं हतो देवैः पितृव्यश्च महाबलः । कपटेन न शौर्येण तस्मात्तान्सूदयाम्यहम्
andhaka uvāca | pitāsmākaṃ hato devaiḥ pitṛvyaśca mahābalaḥ | kapaṭena na śauryeṇa tasmāttānsūdayāmyaham
Andhaka dit : Notre père a été tué par les dieux, et notre oncle d’une grande puissance aussi—par ruse, non par vaillance. C’est pourquoi je les anéantirai.
