Type: kshetra
Scene: Vyāsa speaks authoritatively, citing Manu; a householder couple offers hospitality/charity, symbolizing satmārga in domestic life.
A righteous householder life, aligned with sanmārga, is honored as a complete dharmic path with worldly and otherworldly fruit.
No single tīrtha is named in this verse; it supports the Mahātmya’s dharma-teaching that undergirds pilgrimage life.
Implicitly, adherence to gṛhastha-dharma and the “good path” as taught in Manu’s dharma tradition.
