तदहं मन्मथाविष्टो दर्शनात्तव शोभने । ब्रह्मचर्यपरोपीत्थं महाव्रतधरोऽपि च

tadahaṃ manmathāviṣṭo darśanāttava śobhane | brahmacaryaparopītthaṃ mahāvratadharo'pi ca

« Ainsi, ô rayonnante, à la seule vue de toi j’ai été saisi par Manmatha (le Désir), bien que je sois voué au brahmacarya et porteur du grand vœu. »
