ततः स्वर्गे समाकीर्णे कदाचिन्मनुजोत्तमैः । देवेषु क्षिप्यमाणेषु समंतात्तत्प्रभावतः

tataḥ svarge samākīrṇe kadācinmanujottamaiḥ | deveṣu kṣipyamāṇeṣu samaṃtāttatprabhāvataḥ

Alors, un jour, le ciel se trouva encombré des meilleurs des hommes, et, sous la puissance de ces arrivants, les dieux étaient repoussés de toutes parts.
