Type: kshetra
Scene: Mahādeva proclaims a boon: a supreme Devī-form, self-born from her essence, is to be worshipped; any woman who worships by the same rite gains a husband.
Devotional worship performed according to prescribed method is portrayed as dharma-aligned and fruit-bearing.
The verse occurs within a tīrtha-māhātmya chapter, but the promise here is tied to worship of a particular divine form rather than explicitly naming the site.
Pūjā of the specified ‘supreme form’ with bhakti, performed ‘by this very vidhāna’ (the method described in the surrounding passage).
