मया तस्य प्रतिज्ञातं धारयिष्याम्यसंशयम् । आकाशाज्जाह्नवीवेगं पतंतं धरणीतले

mayā tasya pratijñātaṃ dhārayiṣyāmyasaṃśayam | ākāśājjāhnavīvegaṃ pataṃtaṃ dharaṇītale

Je lui ai promis : «Sans aucun doute, je la porterai»—l’élan impétueux de Jāhnavī (Gaṅgā) tombant du ciel sur la surface de la terre.
