एकेयं कन्यकास्माकं जाते वयसि संस्थिते । संजाता मुनिशार्दूल प्राणेभ्योऽपि गरीयसी

ekeyaṃ kanyakāsmākaṃ jāte vayasi saṃsthite | saṃjātā muniśārdūla prāṇebhyo'pi garīyasī

Nous n’avons qu’une fille ; maintenant qu’elle est parvenue à l’âge, elle est devenue—ô tigre parmi les sages—plus chère pour nous que notre propre souffle de vie.
