याज्ञवल्क्य उवाच । एवं भवतु देवेश यत्त्वयोक्तं वचोऽखिलम् । परं मम वचोऽन्यच्च तच्छृणुष्व ब्रवीमि ते
yājñavalkya uvāca | evaṃ bhavatu deveśa yattvayoktaṃ vaco'khilam | paraṃ mama vaco'nyacca tacchṛṇuṣva bravīmi te
Yājñavalkya dit : «Qu’il en soit ainsi, ô Seigneur des dieux ; que s’accomplisse tout ce que tu as prononcé. Mais écoute encore une autre parole de moi : je vais te la dire.»
