Devī (Girijā/Gaurī)
Tirtha: Gaurīpāda-sthāna (vara-prada context)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Ṛṣis
Scene: Girijā addresses Kārṇotpalā affectionately as ‘daughter’, offering a boon; the devotee stands or kneels in humility, hands folded, with the sacred footprint-stone and waterbody nearby.
Divine grace responds to sincere devotion and invites the devotee to articulate a dharmic desire.
The same Gaurī-associated tīrtha context continues; the verse highlights the devatā’s readiness to bestow boons at that sacred place.
No ritual instruction is given; the verse presents the boon-bestowing moment following devotion at the tīrtha.
