एवं पंच प्रधानास्तान्हत्वा दैत्यान्महेश्वरः । भूयो जगाम तं देशं यत्र शक्रो व्यवस्थितः । अब्रवीच्च प्रहष्टात्मा ततः शक्रं तपोन्वितम्

evaṃ paṃca pradhānāstānhatvā daityānmaheśvaraḥ | bhūyo jagāma taṃ deśaṃ yatra śakro vyavasthitaḥ | abravīcca prahaṣṭātmā tataḥ śakraṃ taponvitam

Ainsi, après avoir mis à mort ces cinq Daityas principaux, Maheśvara retourna au lieu où se tenait Śakra (Indra) ; puis, le cœur réjoui, il s’adressa à Śakra, riche en austérités.
