vihaṃgāsaktacittena śūnyena sa munīśvaraḥ | dṛṣṭo na mahiṣakṣuṇṇaḥ khurairvegavaśāddvijaḥ
Le vénérable sage, l’esprit comme vidé et tout entier attaché aux oiseaux, ne remarqua pas que le deux-fois-né était piétiné par les sabots du buffle, emporté par l’élan de sa vitesse.
