एषा तव सुता विप्र तरुणी रूपसंयुता । सानुरागेण नागेण पाताले च समाहृता

eṣā tava sutā vipra taruṇī rūpasaṃyutā | sānurāgeṇa nāgeṇa pātāle ca samāhṛtā

«Voici ta fille, ô brāhmane : jeune et parée de beauté. Un Nāga, brûlant de désir, l’a emmenée à Pātāla.»
