tataḥprabhṛti sā devī tasminkṣetre vyavasthitā | tannāmnā kāmadā nṛṇāṃ sarvavyasananāśinī
Dès lors, la Déesse demeura établie en ce kṣetra sacré ; et par ce même nom elle fut connue parmi les hommes comme « Kāmadā », celle qui anéantit toutes les infortunes.
