तस्मात्सर्वोत्तमस्तेषामहं चैव द्विजन्मनाम् । यथा भवामि देवेश तथा नीतिर्विधीयताम्

tasmātsarvottamasteṣāmahaṃ caiva dvijanmanām | yathā bhavāmi deveśa tathā nītirvidhīyatām

«C’est pourquoi, ô Seigneur des dieux, daigne ordonner le moyen par lequel je deviendrai le meilleur parmi ces “deux-fois-nés” (dvija)».
