Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 38

एवं संबोधितस्तैस्तु चिरात्पन्नगसत्तमः । अग्निदाह्यं ततश्चक्रे तस्य पुत्रस्य दुःखितः

evaṃ saṃbodhitastaistu cirātpannagasattamaḥ | agnidāhyaṃ tataścakre tasya putrasya duḥkhitaḥ

Ainsi interpellé par eux, après longtemps le plus excellent des Nāgas—toujours accablé de chagrin—ordonna alors la crémation par le feu pour son fils.
