सुवर्णं वा गजाश्वं वा राज्यं सकलमेव वा । भवद्भ्यः संप्रदास्यामि तस्मादब्रूत द्विजोत्तमाः
suvarṇaṃ vā gajāśvaṃ vā rājyaṃ sakalameva vā | bhavadbhyaḥ saṃpradāsyāmi tasmādabrūta dvijottamāḥ
« Qu’il s’agisse d’or, d’éléphants et de chevaux, ou même de tout mon royaume, je vous l’offrirai. Ainsi, ô meilleurs des deux-fois-nés, parlez (dites-moi ce qu’il convient de faire). »
