Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 67

तापस्य ऊचुः । नास्माकं भूषणैः कार्यं भूषिता वल्कलैर्वयम् । तस्माद्गच्छ निजं हर्म्यमर्थिभ्यः संप्रदीयताम्

tāpasya ūcuḥ | nāsmākaṃ bhūṣaṇaiḥ kāryaṃ bhūṣitā valkalairvayam | tasmādgaccha nijaṃ harmyamarthibhyaḥ saṃpradīyatām

Les ascètes dirent : «Nous n’avons nul besoin d’ornements ; nous sommes parées de vêtements d’écorce. Retourne donc à ton palais, et que cela soit donné comme il convient à ceux qui sont dans le besoin».
