ततो वर्षसहस्रांते समाराध्य महेश्वरम् । न च किञ्चित्फलं प्राप्ता यावत्क्रुद्धास्ततोऽखिलाः

Transliteration

tato varṣasahasrāṃte samārādhya maheśvaram | na ca kiñcitphalaṃ prāptā yāvatkruddhāstato'khilāḥ

Translation

Alors, même après mille ans d’adoration accomplie selon le rite envers Maheśvara, ils n’obtinrent aucun fruit; jusqu’à ce que, par suite, tous s’emportent de colère.
