तथा प्राणसमाऽभीष्टा सीता तव प्रभो । दृश्यते किं न पार्श्वस्था एतन्नः कौतुकं परम्
tathā prāṇasamā'bhīṣṭā sītā tava prabho | dṛśyate kiṃ na pārśvasthā etannaḥ kautukaṃ param
«De même, Sītā, plus chère pour toi que la vie même, ô Seigneur : pourquoi ne la voit-on pas à tes côtés ? Voilà notre plus grand étonnement.»
