एतस्मिन्नंतरे जातं तत्राश्चर्यं द्विजोत्तमाः । तन्मे निगदतः सर्वं शृण्वंतु सकलं द्विजाः

etasminnaṃtare jātaṃ tatrāścaryaṃ dvijottamāḥ | tanme nigadataḥ sarvaṃ śṛṇvaṃtu sakalaṃ dvijāḥ

Entre-temps, ô le meilleur des deux-fois-nés, un prodige advint en ce lieu. Maintenant, ô brāhmaṇas, écoutez de moi le récit entier tandis que je le rapporte.
