अथ तां पार्थिवस्तूर्णं शरेणानतपर्वणा । जघानाकर्णकृष्टेन मर्मस्थाने प्रहर्षितः

atha tāṃ pārthivastūrṇaṃ śareṇānataparvaṇā | jaghānākarṇakṛṣṭena marmasthāne praharṣitaḥ

Alors le roi la frappa promptement d’une flèche aux jointures inflexibles, bandée jusqu’à l’oreille; elle atteignit un point vital, et il le fit dans une vive exaltation.
