प्रलयस्येव चिह्नानि दृश्यंते पद्मसंभव । किं सांप्रतमकालेऽपि भविष्यति परिक्षयः

pralayasyeva cihnāni dṛśyaṃte padmasaṃbhava | kiṃ sāṃpratamakāle'pi bhaviṣyati parikṣayaḥ

«Ô Padmasaṃbhava, Brahmā né du lotus, on voit des signes semblables à ceux de la dissolution. Y aura-t-il destruction même maintenant—hors saison et avant l’heure ?»
