न विदामोऽथ वै सर्वाः केन नष्टेन चाहृताः । एवं विमृश्यमानास्ते विचिन्वंतस्ततस्ततः
Transliteration
na vidāmo'tha vai sarvāḥ kena naṣṭena cāhṛtāḥ | evaṃ vimṛśyamānāste vicinvaṃtastatastataḥ
Translation
Ils dirent : «Nous n’en savons rien : par qui ont-elles été emmenées et rendues invisibles ?» Ainsi, méditant, ils cherchèrent de-ci de-là.
