अद्य दृष्टं मया विप्र अमेध्यं शिवसंनिधौ । केनेदं कारितं तत्र न जानामि कथंचन
adya dṛṣṭaṃ mayā vipra amedhyaṃ śivasaṃnidhau | kenedaṃ kāritaṃ tatra na jānāmi kathaṃcana
Nandī dit : «Aujourd’hui, ô brāhmane, j’ai vu une souillure dans la présence même de Śiva. Qui a fait cela là-bas, je ne le sais nullement.»
