प्रहस्य गौरी प्रोवाच शंकरं त्वतिसुंदरी । हारितं च पणं देहि मम चाद्यैव शंकर
prahasya gaurī provāca śaṃkaraṃ tvatisuṃdarī | hāritaṃ ca paṇaṃ dehi mama cādyaiva śaṃkara
Souriant, Gaurī, d’une beauté incomparable, dit à Śaṅkara : «Donne-moi le gage que tu as perdu, aujourd’hui même, ô Śaṅkara.»
